The National Kidney Foundation of Maryland is dedicated to preventing kidney and urinary tract diseases, improving the health and well-being of individuals and families affected by these diseases and increasing the availability of all organs for transplantation.

We regret to inform you that the April 15th Renal Rounds has been cancelled due to lower than anticipated pre-registration. Our next Renal Rounds will take place in October 2015. We look forward to a great fall Renal Rounds and hope to see you there!


2015 KEY Screenings

The National Kidney Foundation of Maryland continues its mission of early detection and early intervention through free KEY (Kidneys: Evaluate Yours) health screenings. KEY screenings, held throughout our service area, identify early markers for high blood pressure, diabetes and kidney disease. Emergency Financial Assistance Program

Financial assistance grants are provided to transplant recipients and chronic kidney disease and dialysis patients. Considered a resource of last resort, this financial assistance is need-based and can be used to meet critical, short-term emergency needs such as food, utilities, rent or medication. Western MD Kidney Ride and Walk- Discontinued

Thank you for your support of the Western MD Kidney Ride and Walk.  Regretfully, due to budget reasons, we are unable to continue the Ride and Walk.  Your hard work, dedication and passion for our mission is very much appreciated. We will continue to service the Western Maryland Division with our KEY Screenings, our Patient Emergency Assistance Program, and our educational materials and support for all dialysis patients and clinics.  Should you have the desire to coordinate an event or fundraiser, as a third party, we would be happy to support your efforts.
