Support Ryan Weir as he competes in the Baltimore Marathon on Oct. 11.
Weir, 23, a son of University of Maryland nephrologist and NKF-MD board member Matthew Weir, M.D., is seeking pledges for his participation in the Baltimore Running Festival.
"I am supporting NKF-MD because I have seen firsthand the effects of kidney disease on both patients and families," said Weir. "I understand the daily struggle many patients face with medications, dialysis, and the many other complications related to the disease."
